Pet Battles

Pet Battles is a turn-based combat minigame where players use their pets to fight enemy pets for rewards, Pet XP, and Summoning XP.

Players choose a pet, teach it moves, store potions, select a difficulty, and battle enemy pets in a simple turn-based fight.

Quick Start

Speak to Pikkupstix and select Pet Battles to open the Pet Battles interface.

Step 1
Pick a Pet
Load a battle pet from your inventory.
Step 2
Set Moves
Teach your pet attacks using Pet Move items.
Step 3
Store Potions
Deposit potions so they can be used during battle.
Step 4
Fight
Choose a tier and battle an enemy pet.

All battle pets can participate in Pet Battles, including custom pets.

How Pet Battles Work

Your Turn
Choose Fight to attack with one of your pet's moves, or choose Bag to use a potion.
Enemy Turn
Enemy pets always attack. They do not use potions or items.
Winning
Defeat the enemy pet to earn loot, Pet XP, and Summoning XP.
Losing
If your pet faints, you can rematch, return to the Pet Battles interface, or exit.

Battle Options

Fight
Use a Pet Move
Choose one of your pet's known moves to attack the enemy pet.
Bag
Use a Potion
Use a potion from your Pet Battles potion storage. This uses your turn.

Victory
Enemy Pet Defeated

When you win, loot is rolled, Pet XP is awarded, and Summoning XP is granted. You can then fight another pet, return, or exit.

Defeat
Your Pet Fainted

If your pet faints, you can rematch the same opponent, return to the Pet Battles interface, or exit.

Pet HP and Damage

Pet HP

Pet HP is based only on pet level. Difficulty tier does not increase or decrease your pet's HP.

Level 1 pets have 10 HP.
Level 100 pets have 250 HP.

Damage

Damage is based on your pet's level and the power of the move being used.

Higher level pets deal more damage with the same move.

Damage Formula:

Damage = floor(((((2 × Pet Level / 5) + 2) × Move Power) / 50) + 2)

Tips

Start Easy
Use Easy battles to level up weaker pets before moving to harder tiers.
Bring Potions
Potions can save a fight, but they must be stored before battle.
Use Effects
Burn and poison moves are useful because they deal extra damage over time.
Be Careful With Ultimates
Ultimate Skills are strong, but they have low accuracy and go on cooldown.
