Monster Name
The Umbryss is a Slayer boss. To engage The Umbryss, players must have Prestige 12 Slayer and be on a Konar Slayer task. Additionally, The Umbryss must be unlocked via the Slayer Unlock Panel for 5,000 Slayer Points. This boss respawns randomly on the map.

How to Get There
The Umbryss can only be encountered while on a Konar Slayer task and after it has been unlocked using 5,000 Slayer Points in the Slayer Unlock Panel. To teleport to The Umbryss, use the shortcut CTRL+T and it is located under Slayer.

Mechanics

Attack Cycle Overview The boss alternates between a series of Backhand Attacks and Stab Attacks. Backhand Series The boss begins with a sequence of Backhand Attacks. Last Backhand Attack (Disabling Effect): The final backhand in the series disables the player's active prayer, leaving them vulnerable to the boss's next attack. Stab Series After completing the Backhand Series, the boss switches to Stab Attacks. First Stab Attack (Max-Hit Attack): The first stab in the series will automatically deal max damage (150), unless the player reactivates their prayer immediately after it was disabled. If the player manages to turn prayer back on in time, the damage is halved. Players can also use the Nullify spell to negate this fully.
