Vulcan

Vulcan is a high level boss, released on August 27th, 2023. You can access the fight by doing Ctrl+X then clicking Vulcan under Bosses. This boss can be challenged in Mass Mode or in Solo Mode. Players will need to achieve at least 200m damage to be eligible for loot while fighting Vulcan in Mass Mode. Vulcan Strategy Guide Vulcan is a single phase boss fight with 3 different mechanics. Vulcan Phases short explanation Mechanic 1 Mechanic 2 Mechanic 3 Followers of Vulcan Hell Fire Shield Death Chooses You Mechanics short explanation Ability Name Explanation on how it works Additional Ability Followers of Vulcan Every few seconds Vulcan will summon 1 of his followers to attack quadrants of the map. It will slowly tread toward its destined target area to explode and burn that quadrant of the map. Hell Fire Shield Vulcan becomes invulnerable at 2 stages in the entire boss fight and spawn a shield with a total of 10% of the max HP of the game mode. Vulcan will wrap himself in a cloak of flame, he will have 10% of his MAX HP become his shield Players will be given 15 seconds to destroy the shield or all players in the instance will be killed and the fight will end. Death Chooses You 1 Player will be selected every few seconds This mechanic will loop for 20 ticks requiring the user to continuously move otherwise they will take 40 damage per tick while standing still. Phase 1: Damage Nex and kill Reavers as soon as they spawn. Attack rotation: Phase 1 4 Auto-Attacks Elemental Lockdown 4-14 (random) Auto-Attacks Shadow orbs 4-14 (random) Auto-Attacks Repeat from Elemental Lockdown Phase 2: Kill the Amalgamations before their bar is full then kill the Praesuls in order. Attack rotation: Phase 2 Amalgamations Praesuls (Umbra(Shadow) > Glacies(Ice) > Cruor(Blood) > Fumus(Smoke) Phase 3: Damage Nex while avoiding special attacks. Attack rotation: Phase 3 4-9 (random) Auto-Attacks Random choice of Smoke Blades/Unstable Smoke/Icicle Slam 4-9 (random) Auto-Attacks Random choice of Smoke Blades/Unstable Smoke/Icicle Slam (cannot be repeat of previous special used). Repeats cycle Phase 4: Kill the crystals in the corners of the room in the order you killed the Phase 2: Praesuls mechanic. These have 500,000,000 hp.
