One of the most appealing features we have on Redemption is the ability to upgrade items. This mechanic allows harder-to-find items to enter the game more easily, and keeps common, cheap items circulating in order to hold a stable economy.

Upgrades can be accessed by typing ::upgrade, and then interacting with the Upgrade Chest. Across the room is a Disassembling Dwarf that can give you back enchantments on your enchanted items. You will need a minimum of +10 to use the item on the Dwarf. You get 30% of the enchantments back and then they become untradeable.

Just outside of the building there are 2 NPCs. You can talk to Wizard Shug who can upgrade auras, and the Scavenger Shop to upgrade miscellaneous items.

If you are successful in upgrading anything, you can collect them by using the collection chest. There is one inside the bank at ::home, amongst other locations.
