Nex: Angel of Death

Nex: Angel of Death is a high level boss, released on July 25th, 2023, and is a successor to the original Nex boss fight. Suggested number of players: 5+ Players will need to achieve at least 3% of the total damage to be eligible for loot. Prestige 8 Slayer is required to enter and take on this boss. She lands in the centre of the arena facing the same quadrant she faced prior to flying up and deals typeless damage to any players within a 3x3 area. After a few seconds ice stalagmites appear, dividing the arena's quadrants. They deal moderate damage if they are stood on. Make sure you are about 2 - 3 game tiles away from impact tile Three blood reavers with 35,000,000 life points spawn in the quadrants that Nex is not facing and begin advancing towards her. If a reaver reaches Nex, she yells "Taste the true power of a blood sacrifice", and deals 50% of the total hp the reaver had upon reaching Nex. *Shadow orbs If Nex has not been phased 4-14 auto's after the Elemental Lockdown, she will yell "Let the shadow engulf you. Give in to it." She creates three red shadow orbs per player, placing them on the tiles that they are currently stood on. The orbs deal typeless damage every tick if the player is on top of one of them. Moving one space away from your location for each spawned orb is enough to avoid taking damage. These orbs remain on the floor for some time even after being initially evaded. *Amalgamations Nex will summon 4 amalgamations of the Anicent Magicks: shadow, ice, blood and smoke, each one being placed diagonally across from her to their respective crystals. The amalgamations will need to be destroyed before their bar is filled. If the amalgamation is destroyed before the bar is filled a weaker Praesul of the corresponding element is summoned shortly after the crystal is destroyed. If the amalgamation is not destroyed before the bar fills completely a stronger version of the corresponding Praesul will be summoned. Praesuls (Umbra > Glacies > Cruor > Fumus) After killing the amalgamations 4 Praesuls representing the different elements of Ancient Magicks are spawned. The order in which the Praesuls need to be killed is VERY IMPORTANT. From first to last the order in which you need to kill them are: (Umbra > Glacies > Cruor > Fumus) Pay very close attention if this order is not followed as the order of the pillars in the final phase relies on the order in this phase. Mind Flay Players will become immobilised and between 2-5 orbs of shadow energy (2 by default, +1 for every 25% anima absorbed during the shadow anima pool mechanic) will appear around the player and will start dealing damage. Raksha will stop using auto-attacks for 8 seconds during this time but at the end of the timeframe any shadow energy still remaining will deal damage towards player. Shadow Detonation Raksha will stop performing auto-attacks for the duration of this attack while charging up shadow anima as a blue dome surrounds him. Deal enough damage to break the dome. The damage varies based on how much anima Raksha had absorbed in the previous phases If you are unable to clear this DPS check, you can hide behind any of the pillars surrounding raksha to avoid the instant death Only recommended if the dome cannot be breached in time. A bar will also appear above him; if it fills he will unleash a blast of shadow anima that causes instant death if not dealt with properly. The dome that surrounds him will de-spawn prior to the next instance of this attack, as a warning that it is being used again.
