Lachrym The Undying
Lachrym The Undying is an End Game Boss with 4 different difficulty stages and a lot of mechanics. It was released on January 21, 2021.

The Fight

During Combat

Lachrym has 3 stages in total; Ice, Fire and Acid. Ice; After Lachrym has lost 33% of his health, there will be a shield upon him. To break this shield, you must use any fire spell, or a 6th Anniversary Sword/Rifle (Fire). If you don't use one of the previous stated methods, the shield will consist of 20% of Lachrym's initial Health. This stage will also freeze the player every 10 seconds for 1 second each time. Using a Melee weapon on this stage will deal 5% extra damage overall. Fire; Once the shield is broken, this stage gets triggered. Random fires will spawn across the room dealing 15 damage per tick, if you stand on it. Once Lachrym has lost 66% of his health, it will trigger another shield, only this shield must be damaged with a water spell, or a 6th Anniversary Sword/Rifle (Ice). If you don't use one of the previous stated methods, the shield will consist of 20% of Lachrym's initial Health. Using a Mage weapon on this stage deals 5% extra damage overall. Acid; Until Lachrym is defeated, the Acid stage will stay. This stage consists of acidic pools spawning under the player every 4 seconds. Using any Range weapon on this stage deals 5% extra damage overall.

Overall Mechanics during all stages

Lachrym has a few important mechanics you need to know if you wish to defeat him. Make sure that before you start, you have 4 free inventory spaces. Your weapon will randomly be put in your inventory (random intervals every 5-30 seconds). Your pet will randomly be put in your inventory (every 10 seconds). Your overhead prayers will be disabled (every 8 seconds). Lachrym will randomly teleport around the room (every 30 seconds). Any healing methods will only count for 50% of their normal ability.

How to get there
To get to Lachrym use the Boss Teleport interface or type ::bosses in-game.

How to start
You can just enter the purple portal, which can be seen when you teleport there. If you'd rather have a higher difficulty, or it turns out you have used your daily limit, you'll need to talk to Grizzle the Merchant. He will open up an interface with 3 options.
