Slayer Executioner Tasks are a special type of Slayer task focused on persistence instead of kill count. Unlike normal Slayer tasks, Executioner Tasks do not ask you to kill a set number of monsters. Instead, you are assigned a monster from the Hard Slayer Task pool and continue killing that monster until you receive an Executioner's Key.

Executioner Tasks are worth doing because they give access to the Executioner's Chest, which contains important rewards used for Slayer progression. These include the Executioner's Cloth, Reaver's Mark, Exposure Curse Codex, and other rewards tied to the Executioner system.

__TOC__

How Executioner Tasks Work
When assigned an Executioner Task, the player receives a monster from the Hard Task monster pool.

There is no required kill amount. The task is completed once the player receives an Executioner's Key from the assigned monster.

Each kill increases the chance of receiving an Executioner's Key by 0.1%. If the meter reaches 100%, the next kill guarantees the key.

Executioner Tasks can be skipped the same way as normal Slayer tasks.

Why Do Executioner Tasks?
Players complete Slayer Executioner Tasks mainly to earn Executioner's Keys. These keys are used to open the Executioner's Chest, which contains rewards used to unlock or upgrade powerful Slayer items.

Important rewards from the Executioner system include:

* Executioner's Cloth, used to create and upgrade Executioner's Cloaks
* Reaver's Mark, used to create the Soul Reaver Pet
* Exposure Curse Codex, used to unlock the Exposure Curse

Executioner's Key
The Executioner's Key is awarded when an Executioner Task is completed.
Summary
Slayer Executioner Tasks are long-form Slayer tasks where the goal is to keep killing your assigned monster until an Executioner's Key drops. They are mainly done for access to the Executioner's Chest and its rewards, which are used to create powerful Slayer upgrades such as the Executioner's Cloak, Soul Reaver Pet, and Exposure Curse.
