Executioner Tasks are a Slayer task type focused on persistence rather than a fixed kill count. The player is assigned a monster from the Hard Task monster pool and must continue killing that monster until an Executioner's Key is obtained.

The Executioner's Key is used to unlock the [[Executioner's Chest]]. Each kill during an Executioner Task increases the player's chance to receive an Executioner's Key by 0.1%. If the pity meter reaches 100%, the next kill guarantees the key.
